Museum and Heritage Consultancy

 

Sue Hughes is a Fellow of the Museums Association and has over 25 years' experience in the museum and heritage sector.  She is based in South West Scotland, and her CV includes the roles of Manager at Knowsley Museum Service, Director of Cheshire West Museums and Director of Macclesfield Museums.  She is currently a participant in the Organisational Sustainability and Business Skills Development Programme from Arts and Business Scotland.

Sue Hughes has led major projects funded by the Heritage Lottery, Arts Council England and the Arts and Humanities Research Council.  This has included innovative learning and interpretation programmes, linked to academic research and collections management, making museums and heritage accessible and enjoyable to diverse audiences.
